The UGHM "Vocational Training Center" was jointly established by Chongqing Vocational College of Transportation, Chongqing UGHM Machinery Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Yujiao Human Resource Management Co., Ltd. It aims to respond to the "Belt and Road" initiative and is dedicated to cultivating professional talents in the field of underground engineering machinery construction for China and even the world.
The center focuses on application technology training for key equipment such as rock drilling jumbos, enrolling students from both enterprises and society. Small class sizes ensure that each student receives adequate attention and guidance. Simultaneously, the center emphasizes the combination of theory and practice, enhancing students' practical abilities through simulated operations and field exercises.
Since its establishment in October 2020, the center has successfully trained over 300 students for numerous renowned enterprises, including China Anneng, Shandong Gold, Zhaojin Mining, and Sinohydro Bureau 10, and has supplied the society with more than 500 professional technical talents. These students have excelled in their respective positions, earning widespread industry recognition and praise for the UGHM "Vocational Training Center".
